Bettye Swann Ad, 1969

This ad for Bettye Swan’s “Don’t You Ever Get Tired (Of Hurting Me)” ran in Record World on Sept 27th, 1969, her third LP and second for Capitol. After leaving Capitol she released a number of 45s on Atlantic, Fame and Abet with many of them being very good and charting on the R&B and sometimes pop charts. Unfortunately larger success eluded her and she was out of music by the end of the 70s.
