Musical Episode #056 : Beat Guitar v.2

The ultra-cool Link Wray has two sides featured on today’s mix of rocking and rowdy sides of proto-garage, wild doo-wop and fuzzed out instrumentals.

Hello all, happy to have you back for another installment of our Beat Guitar sounds! If you enjoy this mix be sure to check out Episode #031 which is another hour of fuzzed out, freaked out 45s. Today’s mix is a lot of late 50’s and early 60’s records and moves around quite a bit; you’ll hear doo wop, rockabilly, garage and proto-garage records and even a couple records that were flirting with novelty territory (and thankfully stayed away!). I always enjoy these podcasts where things get a little looser and even weird and hope you do too! If not, we’ll be back on track next week.

As always you can find me on instagram @musicalepisode posting 45s. I’m using facebook less and less these days. I’m also leaving the comments on these pages open even though it’s 95% spam.

Hope everyone is doing ok and you enjoy this hour of 45s!
