Musical Episode #055 : Whole Lot of Soul

Willie Mitchell who was responsible for more classic records than we can count is featured on today’s podcast of upbeat dancers.

Welcome to another Musical Episode! If you’re eagle-eyed you’ll have noticed I missed last Friday. I had tried to take some time off from my jobs and limit my computer time. Unfortunately in all my prep I didn’t get everything set up for the podcast to go up as normal. It may happen again, in fact I’m sure it will, but I was able to get back to recording and I have the next four or five weeks in process so we should be good again for a while!

This week doesn’t have too specific of a theme other than wanting to play some upbeat, dance-able records. I’ve definitely begun to think about what it will be like to play records again for people, even booking a couple of weddings for this summer. I get my second shot next week so there’s a twinkle on the horizon that we could enjoy something together. In that spirit I pulled some records I used to enjoy playing for sweaty, jam-packed crowds.

Hope everyone is holding it together as best they can and maybe these songs help,

-George / Snack Attack
